What this site is

Deprecation.org is a work of satire and the marketing site for an upcoming video game. The company, its customers, its pricing and its services are fictional. No jobs were harmed. Any resemblance to an actual company staffed by a single employee is, at this point, coincidental.

What we store

• Redundancy checks: the text you enter and the generated report, so you can share it. Reports are processed by an AI model (Google Gemini). Do not enter personal data you would not want stored.
• Comments: your optional display name and comment text. Comments are screened automatically (an AI model reads them) and borderline ones are reviewed by a human before they appear.
• Email signups: your email address, used only to send news about the game and this site. We first email a confirmation link and add you to the list only after you click it. Mail is sent through Resend. One-click unsubscribe in every email.
• Rate limiting and abuse prevention: a salted hash of your IP address, not the address itself, plus Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly human check that loads from Cloudflare when you use the redundancy check, comment or sign up.
